msgblock [-score option_string] command arg1 arg2 ... argn
msgblockcommand locks hosts in a cluster while executing a normal unix command. The purpose of this command is not to disturb parallel program execution that may be evaluating performance on a cluster.
The command arguments are scanned, and if
is found at the first argument then the number of
hosts specified in the followed option string are locked via
msgbserver, and command is
simply executed. If the
-score keyword is found in command arguments,
msgblock locks required hosts and executes the command
with the SCore option string.
